岩隈選手とアスレチックスの交渉が決裂しましたが、CNN 見ていて投手の成績を英語で言う場合の参考になったフレーズがいくつかありました。

のように be 動詞で直接つなぐシンプルな言い方ができるのですね！

The 29-year-old right-hander was 10-9 with a 2.82 ERA in 28 games this season with four complete games and one shutout. He struck out 153 and walked 36 in 201 innings.

Iwakuma is 101-62 with a 3.32 ERA and 46 complete games in 209 appearances.

ERA　→　earned run avarage
complete game　→　完投試合
shutout　→　完封
walk　→　フォアボールを出す

shy of は「不足して」という意味なので、「2008年のフランチャイズレコードより2少ない」とうかんじですね。
